The latest round of our Primary School Workshops launched last Tuesday with a fantastic first session in Art and Science!
Students explored underwater creatures through creative art activities and built plasticine models of cells in science.
These hands-on workshops are running for four weeks and there's still time to join - but hurry, booking closes this evening!

Yesterday we hosted our Year 9 Business Network Event, where students had the opportunity to meet representatives from Network Rail, Cross Keys Homes, ARU Peterborough, Anglian Water, Youth Dreams Project and Baker Perkins. Each visitor shared insights into the wide range of roles available within their respective sectors, helping students explore potential career pathways.
Students also took part in an activity designed to help them understand the differences between T Levels and Apprenticeships.
We would like to thank all our guests for their time and support in inspiring our students.

A reminder: To help us prepare for our Open Evening and to ensure students taking part have an adequate break, school will close to students at 1.15pm on Wednesday 15 October 2025.
Students entitled to free school meals will be able to collect a grab-and-go lunch from the canteen during break time.

Hello Yellow – Friday 10 October
To mark World Mental Health Day, our Inclusion Department will be running a student-focused fundraising stall outside the Canteen and PE Foyer. Organised by staff from our new Sunflower Room, the stall will feature worry worms, friendship bracelets and small treats, all priced between 50p and £1.
Funds raised will support YoungMinds, a charity working to improve children and young people's mental health.
The Sunflower Room is a safe and welcoming space offering emotional support, creativity and connection for students. Led by Mrs Purdy and her team of mentors, it includes a calm zone, snack station, crafts, games and the private Sunshine Room for one-to-one sessions.
We hope you’ll support this initiative and help raise awareness of mental health in schools.

Congratulations to Emerson in Year 11, who recently represented Great Britain in Speedway, competing in Slovenia. Emerson and his family undertook a journey of more than 15 hours by road, travelling through Austria and the Alps to take part.
It was a demanding race meeting, with Team GB performing impressively against some of the best riders in the world.
A fantastic effort and a true display of dedication to his team. Well done to Emerson and Team GB!
We are excited to invite you to our Open Evening on Wednesday 15th October 2025!
