Remembrance is about honouring and respecting those who have been involved in all wars and conflicts. As a school we have come together, we have shown our respect and gratitude by standing quietly, a simple but poignant gesture.
The remembrance service included parades, readings of poetry, moments of silence and laying of wreaths to remember those that have served and many who made the ultimate sacrifice. At Ken Stimpson we form a small proportion of the millions across the country attending services. We are a small part of something much bigger than ourselves. What we have done today, I believe, matters.
