On Tuesday 18th November, a group of students had the opportunity to visit RAF Wittering. During the day, they met personnel from a range of roles within the RAF, gaining first-hand insight into life in the service. The visit also included a tour of the RAF Heritage Centre, where students explored the rich history of the force, and a chance to put their skills to the test with the RAF fitness challenge!

Despite the monsoon-like weather, our school community came together and raised an incredible £1,539.66 for Children in Need!
A huge thank you to all parents, carers and students for your generosity and support. Special recognition goes to our Year 9 and Year 10 teams, who organised and ran the main fundraising stalls in the Sports Hall during the afternoon break and to all the staff that supported the event. Your creativity and hard work made this event a real success!
Thank you for helping us make a difference.
On Friday we had a great day taking our Year 11 and Post 16 Art students on a visit to the National Portrait Gallery and National Gallery in London. The day was filled with viewing many masterpieces and enjoying some of the sights and delights of the capital, even catching some of the Christmas lights!

Our Book Club is meeting for their next great read on Thursday 27th November at 3.15-4pm in Mr Billson's room.
This session we will be exploring "The Cats We Meet Along The Way" by Nadia Mikail and everyone in attendance will receive the book to borrow (first come first served!)
All students (and staff!) are welcome to join us as we read passages from the book whilst consuming copious amounts of hot chocolate and biscuits!
See you there!

On Thursday 5th February we will be holding a special event to help students choose their perfect outfit for prom!
To allow this no-cost event to happen we need your help! If you have any gently used prom dresses or suits that you no longer need, we would really appreciate your donation. Contributions can be dropped off at our Main Reception area.
The event will feature a changing area for trying on outfits, advice from staff and volunteers plus music and nibbles to add to the occasion!
We would love to make prom a memorable occasion for all of our students and would be grateful of any help you can offer!

We are holding this year's Careers Fair on Wednesday 19th November from 3.20pm to 4pm in our Assembly Hall.
Students from all year groups, along with parents and carers, are invited to meet local employers, former students, universities and training providers.
This is a great chance to explore different career paths, learn about entry requirements and challenge any misconceptions about job opportunities.
We look forward to seeing you there!

The residential was one for the history books. From start to finish, it was packed with fun, laughter and plenty of adventures. The activities brought the best out in everyone, with teamwork, resilience and lots of smiles.
One thing we agreed on: it was very muddy, but that didn’t dampen our spirits; if anything, it added to the excitement and made the challenges more memorable. Whether it was canoeing, zipwiring or braving the muddy obstacle courses, every student showed incredible determination and enthusiasm.
I hope all the students enjoyed making these memories with their friends. For me, this will go down as the muddiest residential ever, and I’m sure I will not forget it.
Thank you to everyone who took part and made it such a fantastic experience.

Residential – End of Day 2!
After a fun-packed day, we now have lots of very wet and muddy students who are somehow still full of energy. Today’s adventures included canoeing, zip lining, and plenty of other exciting activities that have kept everyone smiling. Tonight, we’re hoping the rain holds off for our campfire sing-along — complete with roasted marshmallows, of course.
Parents, be prepared there will be plenty of muddy clothes coming your way! Let’s hope all that fresh air helps them get a good night’s sleep tonight.
