Last week our Year 9 Sports Students hosted an event for Werrington Primary students. This was a project they had been working on since the start of September, preparing their understanding of the different events they each had to lead. Some students took on lead roles, from the Chair who led the event to those leading each activity, talking to the primary school students and ensuring the event ran smoothly. The students who chose to lead the scoring were also particularly busy on the day, inputting hundreds of scoresheets into the laptop for analysis.
Overall the event was a huge success and the students enjoyed the responsibility of organising and leading the event for the younger students, well done everyone!
