Last week, our Year 8 students participated in Smashed Live, an interactive and engaging program that tackles underage drinking. The assembly encouraged positive thinking and empowered students to make informed choices.

With the launch of Safer February, please see the link below for a list of all of the speakers and organisations that will be attending over the month.

The focus is supporting our students, on positive mental health, keeping themselves safe inside and outside of school. With the final day of introducing them to lots of organisations that they can get involved in or seek support from.

To commemorate the important event of Holocaust Memorial Day we are holding a number of assemblies this week. Students will learn about the events that unfolded and the impact they have had.

We are also proud to share that two of our students, Esme and Wania will become Holocaust ambassadors. Both students will visit Auschwitz in March through the Lessons with Auschwitz project. This will include a guided visit where they will further develop their knowledge of the harrowing experiences faced by the Holocaust victims.

Today four of our amazing students spent the afternoon at Peterborough City Hospital. All four students are regular Dorset Walkers and keen supporters of The Malcolm Whales Foundation

Their impact today was to deliver, setup and road test £2500 worth of tech for the cancer ward.

The money has been raised by all the amazing Dorset Walkers and 10 Hours of Sport students at KSA and across the city.

Delivering this TMWF donation will make such a difference to so many patients and families.
