Last term, a group of our students dedicated time to creating magnificent carnival costumes for the upcoming Culture Community Carnival, an event which will celebrate African and Caribbean culture in Peterborough on the 23rd August.
We extend our sincere thanks to the event organisers for their valuable assistance. Their volunteers generously supported our students throughout the costume creation process. It was also a delight to welcome Precious Graham, the carnival's founder, to our school to see our costumes. We are immensely proud of the students' creativity and hard work.

The end of last term saw our last Year 7 assembly and a big celebration for the students' hard work and achievements over their first year at KSA. A huge well done to all of the students for such a great start to their journey with us!

The Four Cs Trust recently held a Peer Review day at Ken Stimpson Academy, bringing together colleagues from across the Trust, including Trustees, Governors and Senior Leaders to witness first-hand how our school continues to grow in strength and confidence.
The feedback from those that attended was overwhelmingly positive and we are very proud of the comments received. Our visitors were particularly impressed by how calmly students entered the school, how purposefully they moved around the site and how focused and engaged they were in lessons. The quality of teaching observed throughout our disruption-free classrooms was also highly praised.
The progress highlighted during the visit was a testament to the collective commitment and hard work of our whole school community and we would like to give thanks to everyone that is contributing to our ongoing success.
A big thank you to Isla and Amina for leading Lower School Dance this year. Our younger students have gained so much from being mentored by their older peers - it’s always great to watch their confidence and creativity grow.

"The children really enjoyed all of the lessons. It was the highlight of our week and we always looked forward to coming"
Some more fantastic feedback from our Performing Arts Primary Workshops, which ran throughout the last academic year.
If you have a child in year 4, 5 or 6, why not take a look at our Primary Workshops running after school from September
We have uploaded a few more photos from our Year 7 Residential on our Facebook page! An amazing time was had by all and we are looking forward to going again with our new Year 7 students next term

The penultimate day of the summer term saw the last meeting of the Book Club for the 2024/5 academic year. It was nice to see new members again - and we're hoping for more as the new Year Seven's join us in September. We will next meet on Thursday 25th September.
Have a restful summer from the Book Club - and happy reading!
